Serra at Gagosian London

Season 1 artist Richard Serra has concurrent exhibitions at Gagosian Gallery, London. Three new steel sculptures are on view at the Britannia Street space together with “forged drawings” – small, geometric forged steel plates with paint stick applied to the surface. At the Davies Street gallery, new works on paper have their say. Seems hard to believe, but these are Serra’s first exhibitions in London since Weight and Measure was presented at the Tate Gallery in 1992.

The Gagosian shows run through December 20th and are accompanied by a catalogue with an essay by Kate Nesin.
