This is a special event with targeted audience of educators and high school youth in the Denver Metro area. Held at PlatteForum, a non-profit art center that supports the creation of new work by master artists with at-risk youth, the event dovetails with the October 18th opening of Yours/Mine/Ours, (working title) an exhibition of new work created by New York artist Rory Golden and ArtLab youth from PlatteForum. Youth work address issues of teenage homelessness. Golden’s work addresses impacting change through the communication of social issues in art.
