Photographer and filmmaker Laurie Simmons has been at the forefront of New York’s contemporary art scene since the late ’70s. One of the featured artists in Season 4 of Art:21 ‚Äî Art in the Twenty-First Century, Simmons makes photographs and films that draw from everyday life, fantasies, and pop culture.
