A big thanks to DC Spensely for his guest blog contribution last week. Next up, we have Serena Qiu, who will take up residence on the Art21 Blog for the next two weeks and will look at, among other subjects, Sandy’s devastating impact on the New York art community.
Serena Qiu is an independent art writer who lives and cooks in Brooklyn, and thinks about art anecdotally. Her writing has been featured with Artlog, Printed Matter, the Paddle8 Scroll, toomer labzda, the Wild Magazine, the Solo Foundation and both Artsy and Artsy’s editorial layer. She also assembles Coffee & A Cookie, an online interview project with people who work in the New York art community. Serena studied art history and English literature at Duke University.
