Hello, readers! I am thrilled to be the writer-in-residence for the “Value” issue of the Art21 Magazine. Over the next two months, I will examine the market-driven forces behind contemporary art appraisal, as well as the intangible, mutable, and subjective nature of worth. Through the stories of artists, innovators, and dreamers, I will explore the psychology of wealth and share perspectives that rupture conventional thought.
Devlin’s online writing residency runs April 1–May 30. Her first article will be published in mid-April.
